Family Court Rates For Hiring a Family Law Attorney

At Port and Sava we recognize that the New York Family Court is not a fun place to spend a morning, even if it is in the company of your charming family law lawyer. While you are waiting all day in Family Court, you are paying your divorce lawyer by the hour. To protect your pocketbook and nerves we have instituted a “mercy” plan. We charge a flat rate for Family Court appearances.

Our rates are $800 per Nassau Family Court Appearance, $800 for Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Central Islip. We charge $900 for Westchester, Staten Island and Orange County.

We are reducing our hourly rate for work done outside the Family Court to $300 an hour from $375. All expenses, such as court transcripts, tolls and parking are not included in the flat rate.
